Founded in 2000 with the initial name Moon Divine by Jason Priester and Steven Wagner and renamed in 2013 as Children Surrender. The sound produced appreciates the mix of technical riffs and melodic vocals, driven by fast beats and lyrics that address issues such as fantasy, poems, society in general, war and everyday life. Children Surrender is a Brazilian metal band, located in the capital of São Paulo with clear influences from Heavy Metal to Symphonic Metal. Put it all together with the uniqueness of each member .
Moon Divine was created to be an Iron Maiden cover band , even despite the name , the band performed from schools to colleges for years with André Alves ( vocals) , Jason Priester (guitar ) , Italo Araujo (guitar ) , Steve Wagner ( low) and Guilherme Almeida (drums ) from 2000 to 2009, the training ended unraveling due to a subject never revealed .
In 2010 the band returned to active duty with ninth LineUp formed by: Mauricio Andrade (vocals) , Jason Priester (guitar) , San Fernando (guitar) , Steve Wagner (bass) and Guilherme Almeida (drums). In 2011 the idea of having an authorial band, Divine Moon ended its activities and began working on a project came.
Over time, members began to identify with a melodic metal. In 2012 after knowing the work of bands Kamelot, Nightwish and Epica, the first attempt yielded an Ep "The beginning" but in heavy metal style, but it was never released.
Starting there, the band began to specialize more on the subject "melody", but the band came to an end in late 2012. After 2013, the band Moon Divine name change to Children Surrender in 2014 now with a stabilized LineUp, they begin to continue the project, but now with a frontwoman. The work will be called "The Last Poetry Poisoned" will be a demo with only one single track of a song done in 3 parts.
